Tesco is bringing out a very festive flavoured crisp and we’re intrigued

Every year Tesco brings out different Christmas-inspired treats, with very interesting flavours. Last year, they brought us the peppermint and white chocolate popcorn and mini chocolates that looked like roast potatoes. In order words, the perfect festive snacks. This year, they've done it again with a brand new flavoured crisp, and just in time for Christmas. It might not be for everyone but it has certainly got us intrigued. Introducing the Candy cane flavour potato crisps.   The description of the crisps are as follows, "Hand cooked crisps seasoned and dusted with a sweet peppermint flavouring for a sweet and salty taste experience." Now, before you prejudge the crisp, think about sweet and salty popcorn and how well that works. Now, throw in a bit of peppermint and it's sure to be very tasty. At first, it was thought that they would only be available in the UK, but we reached out to Tesco Ireland who reassured us that they will be hitting shelves soon. They said they will be available in a selection of stores in the coming weeks as part of their Christmas range. We'll be taste testing these when they come out so we'll be sure to update you when we do.
