A new event taking place next month on October 6, asks you to dust off your apron and get baking alongside your furry friend for a good cause.
Dogs Trust want people to host a "Pupcake Day" bake sale in aid of the animal welfare charity. And every single euro raised will go towards the life-saving work of Dogs Trust. How amazing is that?
According to TV3's Catherine Leyden who will be taking part with her dog Gucci, she said: “Holding a bake sale is a great way to get people together at home or in your workplace, while also raising money for a worthy cause. Dogs love baked treats too, there are some gorgeous dog friendly recipes included in the downloadable Pupcake pack from Dogs Trust, so why not include human and doggy treats in your bake sale?”
Whether you are set for the next Great British Bake Off or you don't know your sieve from your spatula, this event encourages everyone to give baking a go for a good cause.
Executive Director, Suzie Carley added: “Our supporters’ sweet treats will help Dogs Trust change the lives of abandoned and neglected dogs all over Ireland. From rescue right through to the day they find their Forever Homes. By fundraising for Dogs Trust this Pupcake Day, dog lovers throughout Ireland will be baking a difference for all the dogs and puppies in our care.”
You can register for your own pupcake pack and check out various dog friendly recipes here.

I’m a 35-year-old in HR, earning €26k, and this was my biggest financial mistake Let’s be honest, most of us are at least a little bit nosy when it comes to money. We want to know what other people are earning, how they’re actually getting by, and what their spending really looks like (not the […]
