Experts from the Tea and Infusions Association have warned that you should NEVER boil water twice when making a cup of tea.
According to the Telegraph, William Gorman, one of Britain's top tea experts, says boiling the same water more than once removes the oxygen and nitrogen and results in a “dull” cup of tea.
Mr.Gorman went on to suggest something that could replace the traditional 'hot drop' forever,
"A better solution is to put it in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds. When you microwave tea all you're doing is from a scientific point of view is just moving the molecules around and getting it back up to a decent temperature. It is not impacting the flavour at all."This man clearly knows his tea and we're not one to question science or the experts, but microwaving tea? The jury is still out. The next big question we need answered... do you put the milk in before or after the water? *Runs away* via GIPHY
