Chocolate strawberries
These are so tasty (and pretty). Dip some ripe strawberries in dark chocolate with a high cocoa content. Dark chocolate is much better for you than milk chocolate and contains far less sugar.
Fruit sorbet
Not only is sorbet delicious but it also contains less calories than ice cream. Just make sure you always read the back of the cartoon, or even better yet try and make your own.
Frozen grapes
Pop a punnet of grapes in the freezer for a few hours if you fancy a sweet snack. Grapes are packed with antioxidants and lots of other nutrients, plus they're handy and easy to grab on the go.
Chocolate covered popcorn
We're drooling just thinking about this one. All you have to do is make a nice big bowl of unsalted popcorn (try to get the healthiest version you can find). Once it is popped, melt a few squares of good quality dark chocolate in the microwave. Then simply pour the chocolate over the top and sprinkle with sea salt. So simple but so delicious.
Dried mango
If you're a big fan of jellies then dried mango is a great food swap you can make. Some brands cover the mango in syrup before drying so read the ingredients to make sure that you are in fact getting pure mango. It's a great snack if you're on the go all day.
