Feeling desperate about his addiction, a Turkish man has resorted to drastic measures to stop himself from smoking – he’s put a metal cage on his head.
Ibrahim Yucel, who smoked two packets of cigarettes a day for 26 years, decided enough was enough and took the action to cage his head with a helmet device.
Inspired by motorbike helmets, this is Yucel’s last ditch attempt to stop his addiction.
Everyday Yucel puts on the cage-like helmet before he heads to work and leaves the keys with his family so there’s no way he can have a sneaky smoke and break his vow.
At first the family weren’t too sure about the idea but eventually came around to the notion that this madness might actually work!
