BBC presenter Victoria Derbyshire has revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The popular presenter and mother-of-two broke the news to her fans on Twitter on Wednesday night where she revealed that she will be undergoing a mastectomy in the coming weeks.
She also added that she hopes to continue fronting the programme when possible.

Messages of support flooded in immediately for the popular 46-year-old, with friends, fans and colleagues all wishing her well and hopes for a speedy recovery.
In response to the news, a spokesperson for the BBC stated: “We wish Victoria a full and speedy recovery and look forward to having her back full time on the programme as soon as possible.”
