A French company, Spinali Design, has invented a bikini that tells you when you need to apply suncream, and when you need to head in for some shade. So how does the smart bikini work? The swimsuit has a small detachable waterproof UV sensor that attaches to the fabric. When the sensor heats up, a notification is then sent to the sunbather’s smartphone app alerting them to when it’s time to top-up.
