Play host to the Irish Cancer Society’s Coffee morning and help save lives

Get ready for a superb coffee morning everyone.

The Irish Cancer Society (ICS) are looking for people to host the next BIG coffee morning this October in the hopes of raising much needed funds to help in the fight against breast cancer. In particular, they're on the lookout for two kinds of groups to play host - businesses AND communities - just like the one you live in, or the one you do yoga with, or maybe your hockey club, or even just you and the gals. The whole idea is that this October, we see LOADS of businesses and communities host delightful coffee mornings all over Ireland to help raise money to support breast cancer patients and their families. In doing so, two coffee morning hosts that sign up to hold a Cups Against Breast Cancer coffee morning, before September 27, will receive a hamper full of goodies, some tasty, aromatic coffee to stock the kitchen AND there will be a representative from ICS at your coffee morning to speak to the crowd. All you need to do is fill in the registration form online and tell us why you're getting your cups out this October. Two entries will then be chosen to win the box of goodies. The superb initiative that will see coffee mornings taking place all over Ireland is bound to spark a whole lot of fun, great team spirit and... a bitta craic! Best of all - it's for an exceptionally good cause everyone. Each year, over 3,100 women in Ireland are diagnosed with breast cancer - that's 12 women every day. Donations from your coffee morning will fund vital breast cancer research and free support services to ensure these women and their families don't face cancer alone.
