The pub has been around since the 1700s.
The famous Dublin pub, Peter’s Pub, has been listed for sale with a price tag of €4.25 million.
Peter’s Pub can be found at Johnson Place, just at the bottom of South William Street.
Situated on the corner of the street and only a stone’s throw from Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street, the pub has been around since the 1700s.
For the past 50 years, Enda Keogh of the Keogh family has ran the premises.
Mr Keogh is set to retire, hence the sale of the property.
Estate agents Lisney have called the chance to buy the pub a “once in a lifetime opportunity.”
The listing for the property reads: “No 1 Johnson Place features a classic timber shopfront at ground level, with pedestrian access from both Johnson Place and Clarendon Market.
“The upper floors are finished with a brick exterior, timber-framed sliding sash windows, and a pitched natural slate roof.
“No 2 Johnson Place extends the traditional shopfront design at ground level, with matching brickwork and timber-framed sliding sash windows under a flat roof.
“A small single-storey extension to the rear (formerly an enclosed yard) adds further space, also under a flat roof.
“The property benefits from delivery access to the basement via a drop-grate at No 1 Johnson Place. Inside, it features concrete flooring in the basement and timber flooring on the ground and upper levels.”
Lisney added: “Peter’s Pub boasts an unrivalled position in Dublin 2, the epicentre of the city’s retail, tourism, and business districts.
“This highly visible corner location offers proximity to iconic landmarks such as the Gaiety Theatre, National Concert Hall, St. Stephen’s Green Park, Trinity College, Natural History Museum, and Shelbourne Hotel.
“Just steps away from Grafton Street, Dublin’s premier shopping destination, the pub is surrounded by premium retail brands, department stores, and an eclectic mix of restaurants and hotels.”
