Growing up with the Central Perk gang, we pass no judgement on anyone who might choose to spend their afternoon lounging on a couch watching re-runs. In fairness, there are some valuable life lessons in there.
So when we heard a deleted scene had surfaced online, it felt like an early Christmas present.
The clips follow Chandler and Monica on their disastrous attempts to board a plane for their honeymoon… and a series of events that lead them to being mistaken for terrorists.
Nobody even had to mention that the plane was missing a phalange for the drama to kick off:

The footage was cut from the episode “The One Where Rachel Tells Ross” , as it was originally due to air just two weeks after 9/11.
With its re-surfacing online, writers hoped that the scenes could “now be viewed in the spirit which they were originally intended.”
We think it’s safe to say, the viral reaction to the video means everyone appreciated one more nugget of their favourite TV show.
