The next film from the writer and director of the excellent Margin Call, JC Chandor, looks like it is going be one a serious contender for next year.
Starring Robert Redford, the film revolves around a sailor who finds himself lost at sea when his boat becomes damaged.
Zachary Quinto, an executive producer for the film, spoke about Redford at the Galway Film Fleadh claiming they approached him after the actor stated he would be interested in a serious role. He also called the film, which is mainly without dialogue and has only Redford as a cast member, an amazing piece.
Redford received a standing ovation after the film was shown at Cannes and has received amazing reviews from the Guardian, Independent and the Telegraph.
All is Lost will open on the 29th of November in Ireland. You need to see this.
