We knew X Factor bosses were planning to shake things up for the next series but it seems that a lot is going to change… except for Simon Cowell of course.
The show’s executive producer Richard Holloway has told The Mirror that major changes are on the way but replacing Simon isn’t one of them.
He explained: “There will be some exciting changes. The name of the show will stay the same but we are looking at format and the judges.
“There will be some surprises this year. But I can’t go into detail… It is safe to say Simon is staying.”
The line-up won’t be revealed until May which means the whole world will probably be linked to a role.
Either way, the aim is that X Factor will finally challenge Strictly Come Dancing in the ratings battle. In recent years the BBC show has won in terms of overall volume.
