If you don’t want to know a) what the twist is, or b) which judges have what groups – don’t read on.
There is going to be a twist on this year’s X Factor and we reckon it could turn out to be very interesting.
From years gone by, we know that the judges will get to choose one wild card for each category (a singer from the three acts who weren’t chosen for the live shows first time around).
Well this year, it’s going to be a little different as they won’t be choosing an act for their own category, they’ll be choosing each others’ which means they could potentially pick someone who isn’t great/ is very annoying/ will be difficult to work with.
Each judge will pick one wild card for another category.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “This could see them pick a weaker singer who will get knocked out early – or shame their fellow judge by bringing someone back who was overlooked.”
This means that 16 acts will be heading for the live shows which kick off next month. In case you didn’t know, here’s how the categories were divided up…
Girls – Cheryl Fernandez-Versini
Boys – Mel B
Over 25s – Simon Cowell
Groups – Louis Walsh
