I may have been late to the game, but the hype around The Night Agent is as strong as ever.

Fans of the show will be thrilled to hear that it is finally returning for a second season.

The streaming service revealed that the second season is now in production.

Alongside a photo of the lead actor, Gabriel Basso, Netflix confirmed, "The Night Agent is back in production for season 2!"

Fans were overjoyed to see the long-awaited update.

One said, "That's exciting news! *The Night Agent* must have made quite an impact to warrant a second season."

"As someone who doesn’t like many series or movies released in past few years, I say this is worth watching," another wrote.

The synopsis reads: "While monitoring an emergency line, a vigilant FBI agent answers a call that plunges him into a deadly conspiracy involving a mole at the White House."
