The Leading Roles in 50 Shades of Grey are Finally Being Cast…

The rumours have been flying and at this rate half of young Hollywood has been ‘confirmed’ as a star of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptation, but film bosses have finally put the chatter to rest with official casting calls going out this week.

In one of the most highly-anticipated novel adaptations in years, Universal Pictures will take on transferring the tale of Anastasia Steel and Christian Grey from page to screen, and they’ve now begun the search for the leading lady and her BDSM-loving partner.

Much of the talk so far has centred on who will play leading man Christian Grey, and some of the names mentioned so far include…

Henry Cavill (Man Of Steel)

 

Matt Bomer (White Collar)

 

Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries)

 

Alex Pettyfer (Magic Mike)

If you’re still planning your Hollywood big break though, don't forget it could be you. Apparently the casting director has reviewed submissions sent by agents and is now opening up casting for the general public. If it means you might be Anastasia to the Christian of one of the actors pictured above… it's definitely worth a shot.
