Fans of Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be excited to hear that the actor/director will be featuring as a guest star in the next season of The Mindy Project.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be playing the part of Mindy’s husband – in a Sliding Doors style episode where Mindy will see both sides of married life.
Fans of the show will know Mindy is set to marry Danny Castellano, but the Season 4 premiere will see Mindy get a sneak peek at what married life would be like if she was with a cool Bravo exec named Matt (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt), rather than dating her current beau Danny Castellano.
Kaling has hinted at a series of guest stars set to join the show this season, which will be aired on Hulu.
The news comes following Fox’s decision to cancel The Mindy Project after three seasons.
