Coronation Street star Craig Charles has reportedly touched down in Australia for the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
According to The Mirror the actor, who is also known for his role in hit series Red Dwarf, is getting ready to take on the creepy crawlies in the jungle.
He is quoted by the newspaper as saying: “I signed up because it’s an adventure… It’s the one they all want to do, it’s the one all families sit down to watch.”
The 50-year-old added: “Obviously I will miss my wife and kids, miss the football, and reading and writing… That will be difficult I suppose.”
Other names linked to the show include Irish model Nadia Forde, former Corrie actress Michelle Keegan, singer Max George (who is also Keegan’s ex) and presenter Melanie Sykes.
The new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, presented by Ant and Dec, starts this Sunday (November 16th) on ITV.
