Liesel's acting career was short-lived after she quit a few years after this movie. A few years later she took her father and some cousins to court over money they had taken from her trust fund. After winning $500 million in the case she decided to do something special with the money.
Instead of using it entirely for herself, she gave $50 million to her mother to open an education programme and continues to invest her money around the world in worthwhile causes.
Speaking about the money she said, "I didn’t earn this money. And I’ll be damned if I’m going to screw it up!”
Basically, she is a hero.
