PIC: The Actress From ‘A Little Princess’ Is All Grown Up

Remember A Little Princess?  It was one of the loveliest and saddest movies from the 1990's. Centred around Sara and her father who returned from war. It's been 21 years since the movie was released and Hello Giggles have tracked down the actress who played Sara, Liesel Pritzker Simmons, to see what she is up to now. Image via Twitter/L. Pritzker Simmons Liesel's acting career was short-lived after she quit a few years after this movie. A few years later she took her father and some cousins to court over money they had taken from her trust fund. After winning $500 million in the case she decided to do something special with the money. Instead of using it entirely for herself, she gave $50 million to her mother to open an education programme and continues to invest her money around the world in worthwhile causes. Speaking about the money she said, "I didn’t earn this money. And I’ll be damned if I’m going to screw it up!” Basically, she is a hero.
