The presenter is currently on maternity leave, however when she returns she won't be moving back onto Xposé, but has instead taken up another role on Virgin Media.
The channel announced the news today, saying that Karen will soon step into the morning role... however it won't be for long.
“Karen Koster will host Ireland AM until Ciara Doherty returns from maternity leave. Karen will be on our screens from Monday March 11 and will join Mark Cagney and Alan Hughes,” the statement read.
“Karen will resume her usual presenting duties on Xposé once Ciara returns.
Opening up about the new role Karen said: “I’m delighted to be back on my old stomping ground on breakfast television. I’m looking forward to it immensely”.
Meanwhile, Cassie Stokes, Glenda Gilson and Nadine Reid continue to host Xposé.
