Johnny Depp has reportedly signed up for the sequel of Fantastic Beasts

Great news!

Just ahead of the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, some news about the sequel has been released. Deadline are reporting that Johnny Depp has signed up to star alongside Eddie Redmayne in the second installment of the movie franchise. Eddie will reprise his role as the lead character Newt Scamander but it's not yet known what part Johnny will play. There is speculation that he might make a tiny appearance in the first movie before being introduced in the second. We'll just have to keep our eyes peeled on November 18th when the first movie is released. For now, what we know is that the franchise will be set long before Harry Potter ever stepped foot in Hogwarts and before the reign of Voldemort. Newt (Eddie) loses some magical creatures in New York and must try to find them before any No-Maj (non magical folk) sees them and uncovers the magical world. Watch the trailer here:
