Hilary Duff left ‘shaken’ after her Beverly Hills home was burgled

The actress is currently on holiday in Canada.

Hilary Duff has been enjoying a family vacation this week and has been sharing snaps from her getaway on social media. However, the actress is apparently now learning that her Beverly Hills home has been robbed. It is being reported that Hilary's home was the site of a burglary on Wednesday night, that saw thieves steal hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewellery.

According to TMZ, the actress' alarm never went off which left personal possessions worth thousands at risk of being taken. The 29-year-old has apparently been left ‘shaken’ by the incident. It is being suggested that the burglars knew Duff was on vacation and targeted her home for that reason. This isn’t the first time an A-list star has fallen victim to a robbery thanks to their social media activity. Kim Kardashian's robbery in Paris was as a result of thieves following her movements on Instagram.
