After Mayo and Kerry battle for a second time, Dublin take on Cork in the second All-Ireland Football Semi-Final. Throw-in is at 3.30pm, with Michael Lyster, Colm O’Rourke, Joe Brolly and Pat Spillane ready to bring all the action to those viewing from the couch.

Let’s face it; once The X Factor is back, we’re practically on a countdown to Christmas. Cheryl and Simon have returned, and they are joined by newbie Mel B and old hand Louis Walsh for another season of the hit reality TV show. Tonight we’ll se more of the closed-room auditions continue as would-be stars vie for their chance to step into the limelight.
Tower Heist, 9pm, Channel 4
Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy star in this 2011 comedy which centres around the manager of an apartment complex who asks a Wall Street financier to manage pension funds for him and his friends. When the financier pockets the cash, he enlists a professional thief to assist in stealing it back.
Agnes Brown, 9.30pm, RTÉ 1
Long before Mrs Brown’s Boys became a comedy sensation and a cash cow for Brendan O’Carroll, there was this adaptation of the Dublin comedian’s books. Angelica Houston stars as the titular character, a Dublin mother of seven struggling to survive as a single parent on borrowed money, dreaming of the day she’ll meet Tom Jones.
Family Guy, 10.00pm, BBC 3
It’s story time in Quahog as the Griffin family take part in a re-imagining of three of the most beloved traditional fairy tales; Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella.
