EastEnders star Gillian Taylforth has reportedly received a two-year driving ban this week after she was arrested by police in February for drink driving.
The actress, who is best known for her role as Kathy Beale in the popular BBC One soap and as Sgty Nikki Wright in The Bill, is reported to have pleaded guilty to drink driving at an earlier hearing.
According to reports, she lost her bid this week to have the offence struck off as she claimed to have been driving to a taxi rank.
She has been banned from driving for 24 months and must now pay a £3,500 fine, £120 government surcharge and £720 worth of costs.
