Classic TV game show The Crystal Maze was back on telly for a brand spanking new series tonight and people were very excited about the reboot.

Richard Ayoade was on presenting duties, filling the big shoes left by original host Richard O'Brien, but Twitter users only wanted to talk about one person.
Dancer and celeb-for-hire Louie Spence was one of the show's contestants and it wasn't long before he got on viewers' nerves.

But after bungling a challenge early in the show, Louie was locked out of the game to the absolute DELIGHT of everyone watching at home.

Their relief was short-lived, however, as the team later decided to buy Louie's freedom by sacrificing a crystal.
But he proved his detractors wrong and redeemed himself when he won a crystal for the team.
Regardless of how much he ticked off viewers, for a brief moment everyone was united as they enjoyed the show.
