Corrie’s Liz McDonald learns the truth about Jim and their ‘daughter’ tonight in the most brutal way

Poor Liz.

Coronation Street's Liz McDonald's world is going to be turned upside-down tonight as she finds out the truth about her ex-husband, Jim, and their 'daughter'. Jim arrived back in Weatherfield last month with a  young woman who he claimed was actually his and Liz's late daughter, Katie. In reality, the woman's name is Hannah - and the two of them have teamed up to con Liz out of her life savings. The two of them have convinced Liz that Hannah is actually Katie, who died shortly after birth, and that she needed money to treat the hereditary condition Myotonic Dystrophy. After asking Liz to give their relationship another try, Jim tells Hannah that things can't go any further between them. He tries to convince her to leave Weatherfield solo (with Liz's £10,000). But Hannah is determined to not let go of her dreams of a future with Jim, and asks him to come to a hotel room during Steve and Tracy's wedding reception. She asks him for "one last kiss" and he obliges...but she fails to tell him Liz is in the bathroom. Liz walks out to find that she has actually been the vicim of a heartless con and is, understandably, devastated - especially after she finally came to terms with the idea of Katie being alive. A trailer for Coronation Street's big week of episodes shows Liz confronting Jim at Katie's grave - and we can't imagine this will go down too well...
