Coronation Street star Claire King has confirmed that she will be staying on the cobbles until early next year.
It had been reported in recent days that she had signed the new contract, and the former Emmerdale star confirmed the news on Twitter at the weekend.

She has been on the street since last December as Erica Holroyd, a new love interest for Nick Tilsley.
We’ve no doubt there’s set to be some very interesting story lines for her character in the coming months!
