Coronation Street favourite Anthony Cotton, known on the cobbles as Sean Tully, is said to be in talks to appear on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
According to reports, the actor, who has proclaimed his love for the dancing show on numerous occasions, has already met up with Strictly bosses.
“Anthony would be fabulous on Strictly and would be a massive ratings pull for them,” a source told The Mirror.
“He adores the show and there is no doubt he would love to be on it.
“When he was at Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright’s wedding he was asking people from the Beeb about it and kind of putting his hat in the ring to be a contestant.”
“It really would be ground-breaking for an active Corrie artist to take part in Strictly so it’s a ‘wait and see’ situation,” the source added.
