BIG news for Jamie Dornan fans today, as the BBC announced ratings hit The Fall WILL return for a third series.
The second series of the hit drama ended on a cliff-hanger with Dornan’s serial killer character Paul Spector lying in a pool of blood after a shooting.
Now it has been confirmed that the Fifty Shades of Grey star will return for a third and final series.
The X Files star Gillian Anderson will also be back in the role of detective Stella Gibson for the five-episode series, which is set to reveal Spector’s fate.
Writer and director Allan Cubitt said: “The cliffhanger ending of season two was conceived in the hope of further exploring the characters and the themes that are at the heart of The Fall.”
