Boy band star Antony Costa has reportedly landed a role in television drama Casualty.
The Blue singer will play a man who suffers severe burns when a teenager sets off a flare. Georgia Moffett, of Doctor Who fame, will play his fiancée.
He told The Mirror: “It’s really exciting to be filming with Casualty again. I’m a big fan of the show, and I enjoyed myself so much last time it was an easy decision to return. It’s been a pleasure working with Georgia and the whole team in Cardiff”.
Antony, who recently welcomed a baby daughter into the world, has guest-starred in the show before and it seems he has the acting bug as he also revealed he’d love to be in EastEnders.
“I have had a life-long dream to be in EastEnders, I can see myself playing Mick Carter’s long-lost cousin or something like that,” he explained. “I have always wanted to play a villain; it’s a role I could really see myself getting my teeth stuck into”.
