Jack Walton was the first X Factor act to leave the competition this weekend as the remaining contestants prepare for another elimination tomorrow night.
Earlier this week it was revealed that there would be a double elimination and tonight host Dermot O’Leary revealed that the Yorkshire lad had in fact received the fewest public votes and would be heading straight home.
Speaking about his time on the show and mentor Mel B, he said: “I’ve just loved it… Mel’s been amazing.”
But while he failed to impress the judging panel and public with his rendition of Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis, others shone with their Halloween-inspired performances, most notably Lauren Platt who sang Katy Perry’s Dark Horse.
Despite being a little uncomfortable in rehearsals this week, Paul Akister also did a great job with Meat Loaf’s classic Bat Out of Hell.
