10 Ways The Hunger Games Would Be Different Had It Been Set in Ireland

We don't really volunteer for things

Rebecca McKnight

Ever wondered what The Hunger Games would be like had it been set in Ireland? We have and let’s just say it would have been a lot different…

1. We don’t really volunteer for things.

This is our classroom tactic.

2. Spiders. Heights. Pigeons. We’re afraid of a LOT of things.

3. Effie, you clearly haven’t heard about the luck of the Irish.

4. This is a good hand symbol…

… but we prefer this one.

5. We have loads of craic so we have loads of friends.

6. We’re a competitive bunch. We’d never say this.

7. Like we said earlier, we’re afraid of a LOT of things and that feeling is PRETTY strong.

8. Can’t say this would have been our response to an admirer.

9. Our mams raised us right, thank you very much!

10. We know who we would have chosen.
