Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer welcomes second child

Huge congratulations are in order for Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer who has just welcomed her second child. The 32 year old announced the happy news on Monday as she shared a snap of her new baby boy who she shares with partner Simon Brough. Revealing his name to be Rowan Leon Brough, she is already mum to five year old daughter Avarie Belle. The photo showed the newborn sound asleep as she was wrapped in blankets and wearing a tiny hat, with Dani revealing he was born on February 7 and weighed 8lbs 3oz. Dani announced she was expecting back in August, as she, Simon and Avarie Belle posed together holding up her baby scans. "Han solo had Chewie. Frodo had Sam. Shrek had Donkey," Dani wrote alongside it.

"Now be prepared for the adventures of Avarie-Belle and as of yet unnamed bump, coming February 2022."

Simon also shared the post to his own Instagram, adding: "Now be prepared for the adventures of Avarie-Belle and as of yet unnamed bump, coming February 2022 (hopefully not to a cinema near you)." Dani and Simon first started dating back in 2015 and welcomed their daughter a year later. Dani reprised her role as Tracy Beaker earlier this year when she starred in My Mum Tracy Beaker, playing the title character we all remember. In this new series, Tracy has a 12 year old daughter Jess, with original cast members Lisa Coleman, Ruth Gemmell and Montanna Thompson also returning for the series. Dani rose to fame when she was 13 when she was cast as Tracy in the CBBC adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s book The Story of Tracy Beaker. She went on to star in five seasons as well as Tracy Beaker: The Movie of Me and 2010’s Tracy Beaker Returns.
