Prince George celebrates his second birthday this week and it looks like it is going to be much more low-key than last year.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will apparently host a small gathering for their first-born at their country retreat, Anmer Hall.
Prince George turns two this week.
The party, organised by Kate, will include a cake and a visit from his grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton.
It is not clear if Prince William will be able to attend the get-together as he started his new post as an East Anglian Air Ambulance helicopter pilot last week.
Last year, Prince George had a big bash at Kensington Palace with The Queen as Guest of Honour.
Although George’s grandfather Prince Charles is away in West Cornwall, he plans to spend a few days with Prince George and his three-month-old sister Charlotte later in the week.
To celebrate George’s birthday, Kensington Palace have today released a new official photograph of the toddler.

The photo was taken by Mario Testino following Princess Charlotte’s Christening earlier this month.
A spokesman for Kensington Palace said: ‘This photograph captures a very happy moment on what was a special day for The Duke and Duchess and their family.
“They are very pleased to share this picture as they celebrate Prince George’s second birthday.”
He just couldn’t get any cuter.
