Tom Holland and Zendaya are still going strong

When asked if he and Zendaya had called time on their relationship Tom replied, "Absolutely not," without elaborating any further.

It all kicked off when the actress decided to unfollow everyone on Instagram, including her boyfriend and fellow actor Tom.

Though it’s not clear why the 27-year-old opted to do a massive social media clean-up, she hasn’t really been active on social media in recent months.

Her X account hasn’t seen any new tweets since September 2023 and the last thing she shared on Instagram was a post for her upcoming movie Challengers.

Yet people started to do a deep dive and realised that the couple hadn't been photographed together since October 2023 sparking concern from fans.

Despite not being seen in the same place at the same time, TMZ reported that they had insider knowledge that the couple had spent New Year's Eve together.

In fairness, Tom and Zendaya have always been notoriously private about their relationship, trying to keep it out of the spotlight as much as possible.

"Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible," Tom told The Hollywood Reporter in June.

"We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers."

Zendaya has also addressed the public's interest in her romance with Tom.

"Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public," the Euphoria actress told Elle.

"I can't not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share."

"It's about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist," she added. "You can't hide. That's not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now."
