This story about snowmen at the White House is brilliant

We are REALLY going to miss Obama.

There are hundreds of reasons Obama leaving the White House makes us sad. His ethics, and hard-work that he has done as president combined with the fact that Trump is taking over, makes us feel both scared and upset. However, on the lighter side of things, there are other fun things we'll miss about the Obama's. While Barack's relationship with Joe Biden is one of our favourite things, the good craic they seem to have around the office is another. The talented Pete Souza had the responsibility of photographing the family for the past 8 years and has managed to capture some incredible moments. The photos he posted to Instagram most recently feature snowmen with Pete adding that 'sometimes you gotta have fun.' The story of these four snowmen has made our day.

''For the past three weeks, there have been four snowmen on display in the Rose Garden.'' Pete explained. ''We've been joking that we should move the snowmen a few feet closer to the Oval Office every day to see if anyone noticed. Then we realized the snowmen were too heavy to easily lift. ''But finally this morning before the President came to the office, some helpful staff--I won't say who--moved all the snowmen so each one was peeking through a different window into the Oval. This photo was taken this afternoon as the President signed end-of-the-year bills.''

Obama had previously revealed to People magazine that he found the snowmen 'a little creepy'. So the prank was basically to freak him out! Brilliant. Pete added a second photo which was captioned: ''Another snowman from yesterday.
