This horrid hashtag has been trending since Taylor and Calvin split up

You know that feeling you get when you have to update your Facebook status from ‘in a relationship’ to ‘single’ and you wonder anxiously what nasty things people might say about your inability to hold down a relationship?

Well imagine that feeling but magnified by like a billion. Sadly, that’s what is happening to Taylor Swift right now following her split from former beau Calvin Harris. Taylor’s love life has faced no shortage of scrutiny from fans, press and keyboard warriors but this latest trending hashtag is probably the grossest display of judgment we’ve ever seen. The tag #IDumpedTaylorSwiftBecause has been trending since June 3rd and highlights some of the sexist attitudes of some of Twitter’s scummiest users.
