Chris Pine and girlfriend Dominique Piek have decided to go their separate ways. The pair who have been together for over a year have apparently called it quits.
A source close to the couple claimed that the decision had been mutual, according to E! News and that both Pine and Piek were extremely busy with different projects.
“It was a mutual call,” the insider claimed. “They both needed their space. She has been very busy with her modeling work and traveling. He’s got Star Trek and his other projects keeping him busy.”
Chris started dating the South African model after failed relationships with Olivia Munn and Audrina Patridge. The couple revealed their relationship at Cannes in 2012.
The source also confirmed that both parties are concentrating on their careers.
This essentially means Captain Kirk is single. We’re just putting that out there…
