Let’s hope for her parents’ sake that the latest baby in Hollywood lives up to her Sleeping Beauty inspired name.
Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen welcomed their first child together on October 29th and it appears they’ve turned to a classic fairytale for in choosing her moniker.
The Hart of Dixie actress and Awake star Christensen have named the baby girl Briar Rose Christensen.
Bilson’s rep confirmed the news in a statement and added: “Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well.”
The couple met on the set of Jumper in 2011.
Briar Rose is of course the name given to a princess in Grimm Brothers fairytale Sleeping Beauty.
