“The Most Amazing Couple of Months of our Lives”: Co-Stars Announce They’re Expecting Their First Child

Actress Kirsten Stormsand her former co-star Brandon Barash are expecting their first child together.

The couple both starred in daytime drama General Hospital, with Barash’s character departing from the show in April of this year.

“We’re having a little girl in January,” the dad-to-be told People Magazine.

Barash also revealed that couple had in fact secretly wed in June.

”It’s been the most amazing couple of months of our lives” he said. “We kept things quiet because of everything that can go wrong during the first trimester.”

“Kirsten did have a rocky [time] and we were in and out of the hospital.”

“We talked about wanting to have kids and Kirsten was told she could try hormone therapy. It was pretty bleak as far as the probability of her being able to get pregnant … but then we got back from a trip to Amsterdam and discovered we were expecting. We calculated that we conceived the baby in [GH star] Tony Geary‘s guest room!”

“A couple of weeks ago she wasn’t really showing, but now her curves have just taken over,” the actor says. “It makes me love her even more. It feels like a fairytale — we are so lucky.”

General Hospital is now in its 50th year on TV.
