Teen Mom OG’s Maci granted a two-year restraining order against ex Ryan Edwards

Maci Bookout has been granted a restraining order from her ex boyfriend and father of her eldest child, Ryan Edwards.

The pair who first appeared on the hit MTV series "16 And Pregnant" back in June 2009 are now broken up and involved in new relationships. Ryan, who has been battling with a heroin addiction is now not allowed to come within 100 metres of Maci or her new husband, Taylor McKinney and their two children which they share together. Ryan can however still see his child which he shares with Maci, 9-year-old, Bentley. Speaking to E!, Ryan's attorney Johnathan Turner said:

“We did agree to a restraining order where Ryan will not go within 100 feet of Maci and her current husband and their two children. Ryan has no exclusions with Bentley and is still able to see his son under the new restraining order.”

Continuing he said:

"This gives Ryan a lot more protection against any false allegations, allows him to avoid getting arrested without a hearing first, and allows him to be around his son most importantly.”

Maci filled for the order of protection after she claimed that her ex threatened to "hurt" her if she didn't answer her phone and also claims he showed up to one of their son's baseball games under the influence of drugs according to Radar Online. Ryan is currently expecting his second child with his wife, Mackenzie Standifer.
