Taylor Swift says relationship with Travis is what she’s always dreamed of

Taylor Swift has opened up about her relationship with Travis Kelce for the first time

The singer is notoriously private about her personal life, but delighted fans by opening up about her relationship with Travis on his podcast.

Taylor Swift told Kelce and his brother Jason that Travis's friendship bracelet gesture felt like something out of a John Hughes movie.

"I was like, if this guy isn't crazy — which is a big if — this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager," Swift said.

Swift appeared on the podcast to announce her twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl.

Speaking about the album, Swift said she wrote it during the European leg of the Eras Tour.

"It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life, and so that effervescence has come through on this record.. as you said, bangers.

"This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant.

"There are no other songs coming. With TPD I was like “here’s a data dump of everything I’ve thought, felt, and experienced in two or three years, here’s 31 songs” this is 12 there’s not a 13th… there’s not other ones coming. This is the record I’ve been waiting to make for a very long time."

The album will be produced by Max Martin, Shellback and Taylor Swift.

The Life of a Showgirl will be released on October 3rd.
