The NFL must love Taylor Swift at this point!
Sales have been going through the roof for Kansas City Chiefs games as Swift fans live in hope of catching a glimpse of the star supporting her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Now, Google searches for Kansas City Chiefs merchandise have soared worldwide.
This comes after Taylor Swift sent the internet into a frenzy by changing the lyrics to her song ‘Karma’, to honour new beau.
Swift was in the middle of the hit song when she changed the lyrics from ‘Karma is that guy on the screen’, to ‘Karma is that guy on the Chiefs’, sending the audience and subsequently the internet into an absolute meltdown.

In light of this, new analysis carried out by gaming company, Hearts.Land, reveals that searches for the ‘Chiefs jersey’ specifically exploded by 164% above the average volume in the last seven days – proving that the videos of Taylor’s concert online sparked interest among her loyal fans.
A spokesperson at Hearts.Land spoke about the findings and explained:
“These findings demonstrate the power of Taylor Swift to cause a surge in searches for a very well-known club in American football.Â
“With Taylor’s power as a global music powerhouse and close association with the fashion world, we could see sports merchandise creeping into mainstream with Swifties opting for the traditionally red and white jersey as part of their wardrobe.Â
“Collectors and resellers of such kits would do well to monitor the demand as the prices for Chiefs merchandise could rise if demand increases due to the exposure.”
