Taylor Swift fans are famous for going all out, from wearing diapers to gigs so they don’t miss songs to paying thousands for tickets but they’ve lifted the bar yet again.

After a whirlwind tour of the US, generating billions of dollars and breaking countless records for crowd size and seismic activity, Swift is taking the Eras tour to South America, and here, fans are going all out to secure the best view of the 33-year-old.

In Buenos Aires, Pitchfork reports that a group of Swifties has been lining up for five months, sleeping in tents outside River Plate Stadium, where Swift is set to open her Latin American leg with three shows from November. 9

Pitchfork reported that there are four tents and hundreds of fans, with each member taking part in a meticulously planned schedule of rotations to ensure the spaces are occupied at all times.

Most fans already have tickets, but the drastic measure is about getting as close to the stage as possible when doors open.

The music publication reported: “An internal spreadsheet, created by two organisers and updated by assigned administrators, keeps track of around 60 folks per tent.”

It said most of the waiting fans are young women, but none were under 18 years old.

The system includes a set of rules that were leaked online when camping began in June.
