Take That announce exciting new podcast ahead of tour

Well, we definitely didn’t see that one coming but we’re not angry!

Take That announced that they have created their own podcast on Instagram today, so if you weren’t lucky enough to get your hands on tickets to their stadium tour at least you’ll still be able to listen to the lads chatting.

Launching on October 19, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will take a trip down memory lane together revisiting their 30-year-long career across six different episodes.

In a statement, the band said: “Who’d have thought after all this time we’d be adding professional podcasters to our resumes? It’s been a real treat to sit down together and just chat about some things we’ve talked about before and some things we haven’t.

“We hope people enjoy listening to us as we reminisce on old times and look ahead to the future of Take That.” The first episode of Take That: This Life, named after their upcoming album, will be released next week.

The series will see the bandmates share memories from their time together, discuss parts of their lives not heard before and receive video messages from special guests.

On top of this he boys are set to play two dates in Dublin’s 3Arena on Monday, April 22, and Tuesday, 23 April 2024. Joining That Take on the tour will be singer and former X Factor star Olly Murs.

The lads are set to play 29 dates across 15 cities around the UK and Ireland. Take That were first brought to our attention back in 1990 when the group consisted of five members including Robbie Williams and Jason Orange.

Robbie later left the band in 1995 and launched a highly successful solo career, while Jason  exited the group in 2014.

But if fans are disappointed in the absence of the Angels singer they can soon hear more from him than ever before as his new Netflix show is due to drop on November 8 of this year.
