Suits’ Patrick J Adams made delete Instagram due to Meghan Markle picture

Anyone who watches Suits will know that Patrick J Adams and Meghan Markle who play Mike Ross and Rachel Zayn in the hit TV series, have the most magical onscreen relationship. The characters who are engaged on the series are forever sharing steamy onset scenes which make us wish they were a couple IRL. However Patrick is married to Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario and Megan Markle as we very well know... is dating Prince Harry. And dating Prince Harry comes with a price as Meghan's co-star quickly realised. To celebrate Suits' 100th episode and Meghan's birthday, Patrick decided to share a snap of him kissing the star on the cheek as a throwback to one of their first episodes. But the snap was quickly met by a public frenzy which led the actor to delete his account entirely. “I went to bed, and woke up in the morning and realized ‘Oh, yeah. I live in a world where you can’t post things about Meghan’”, Patrick told Esquire in an interview. Adams who is an active social media user, forever sharing pictures of his travels, scenery and other half, found the backlash too much with people jumping to speculation that the two were dating. "I had this onslaught of people retweeting the thing, people thinking it was a recent picture, and I just thought, ‘What the hell is going on?’ It was such an innocent moment of sentimentality that was twisted into something totally different.” He continued... “It made me feel like… why put myself through this? We’re like brother and sister, it’s not like it was lurid or anything, but it just became a story that people wanted to talk about.” Meghan has yet to comment on the ordeal but you can check out Adams full interview here.
