Stephanie Davis Says Goodbye Following Hollyoaks Exit

Former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis appears to have subtly hit out at the show after her final scenes were aired last night. The actress, whose contract was terminated earlier this year, took to Twitter to say goodbye to her character Sinead O'Connor.

According to reports, she followed this up with another tweet which read: “Some of my best scenes cut.. Can’t go out on a high I guess oh well”. (This was later deleted.) She did get a rather underwhelming exit from the Channel 4 show, simply downing a glass of wine and storming out of the village. Stephanie pictured with her boyfriend at a recent event. Following the news that she had been dropped from the show, Stephanie’s agent confirmed that she had received warnings for “lateness, attendance and after a final incident in which she turned up to set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption". The 22-year-old later denied the allegation that she was drunk at work and insisted it was because she went home when she was meant to be filming.
