As well as thanking her fans for their support, she responded to someone who said that show bosses should have helped her with her “problems” rather than sacking her.
The 22-year-old replied: “I have no problems don’t believe everything you read. I’m staying quiet and rising above it. I know what’s… true and what’s not. I’m all good.”
She played Sinead O’Connor in the soap (image: Channel 4).
Yesterday her representative released a statement about why her one-year contract had been terminated just four months after being signed.
It read: “Stephanie’s contract was terminated following warnings for lateness, attendance and after a final incident in which she turned up to set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption.”
