Amir Kahn is officially off the market after marrying his other half in a lavish ceremony at the weekend.
The 26-year-old boxer and student Faryal Makhdoom got hitched in New York. The do is said to have cost around $1 million.
The Olympic champ posted this snap over the weekend.
Kahn told Hello! magazine that he is a “changed man” who is ready to settle down: “I’ve lived the young life, I’ve done everything I’ve wanted to do. Now is the right time to settle down and start my own family.”
He added: “I’ve got to look after Faryal, so I won’t be going out as much partying with my friends. I don’t want that any more – I want to do the family thing.”
Faryal shared a snap of her wedding preparations on Twitter.
The couple, who got engaged last year, are having another bash in Kahn’s hometown of Bolton next week, something that the bride appears to be looking forward to.
On Sunday Faryal tweeted: “Last night was like a dream, truly amazing. Thanks to everyone that participated, really meant a lot x Now ready for the UK wedding”.
