The VERY special reason behind why Prince Harry will attend a private event today

Meghan Markle will join her husband, Prince Harry, as they attend an event very close to his heart today.

Stepping out for a private event, the pair will attend a carol and church service alongside some close friends to support the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund - a charity set up in memory of Henry Van Straubenzee - a friend of Harry and William's who died in a tragic car accident in 2002. The Van Straubenzee family are very close to the royal family and Henry's older brothers, Charlie and Thomas Van Straubenzee. Charlie's best man at his wedding was Prince Harry while the eldest Van Straubenzee brother, Thomas, is Princess Charlotte's godfather.

It is unknown as to whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend the carol service today but, Harry and Meghan are set to be in attendance with word that Meghan may even give a reading at the church.
