Singer’s Wife Files For Divorce After 19 Years of Marriage

Tish Cyrus has filed for divorce from her husband of 19 years, Billy Ray Cyrus, according to reports this morning.

It seems the couple, who are parents to five children, have finally called it a day on their marriage.

Billy Ray and Tish have been married for 19 years. 

According to TMZ Tish cited “irreconcilable differences” in the papers. She is apparently seeking full physical and legal custody of their daughter Noah as well as spousal support and legal fees.

In a statement to Us Weekly she said: “This is a personal matter and we are working to find a resolution that is in the best interest of or family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

The couple with four of their five children. 

The news comes three years after Achy Breaky Heart star Billy Ray filed for divorce from his wife. The singer decided to drop it the following year, in 2011, but it appears the pair haven’t been able to work out their differences.

Billy Ray and Tish have three children together (Miley, Braison and Noah) and he also adopted her two children (Brandi and Trace) from a previous relationship.
